Annabelle Candy Co. was founded by Sam Altshuler, a Russian immigrant who arrived in the United States in 1917 who named the famous candy company after his daughter. What started as a family business continues today as the one of the largest independently owned candy bar manufacturers in the United States. Currently, Annabelle Candy Company manufactures Original Rocky Road®, Rocky Road Mint, Rocky Road Dark, Big Hunk®, U-NO®, Look® and Abba-Zaba®.
